With more than 150 members, the World Free Zones Organisation is the world’s only multi-lateral and international organisation for free zones across the world. Launched in May 2014, World FZO has headquarters in Dubai and aims to bring together free zones from different parts of the world and create a common platform for achieving collective objectives and resolve shared issues. What started with a single free zone in 1959, the concept of free zone has spread throughout the globe, creating nearly 3,500 free zones and 70 million jobs.
